Just found a small (baby?) turtle at my moms work and took it out of a construction zone, what should be done?

Find out what kind he is(i would tell you but my computer wont load the pictures). If hes from around where you are, just release him near a water source, if not then you should take him to a shelter, because he was probably somebodies pet.
