What kind of beetle is this ? ? Found it in my house?

Could be either a dog tick or deer tick. Type in "photo of dog tick" click wikipedia. A deer tick looks the same except the colors are reversed. Dog ticks are no prob. Deer ticks will give a rash and then get worst.
