Not getting married or no kids?

I kinda feel sorry for you. Because just mentioning this tells me that you have thought about marrying some day, thought about kids and being a dad someday, BUT all that crap that possibly comes with it afterwards is not worth it. Am I possibly right? To answer your question. No it is not weird to not want to put yourself in that position. But you are going on your uncles lives and failed marriages. Everything you said about alimony and child support is probably true. But ask your uncles this question. "If you had your choice would you rather not have your kids and not have to pay child support?" You are only 20. You have no idea what the future will bring. The best advice I can give you is: Don't even get involved with a girl unless she is a good, wholesome, and exceptionally family oriented person And for a long lasting marriage: Treat each other with Mutual Love an Respect. But there is nothing wrong with staying single. Hope you have a good life. gigi
